the elements of design poster

This is my poster for the ELEMENTS OF DESIGN. I just put pictures beside the descriptions for a visual example. For the pictures i did them all in illustrator myself (So no pics off the interweb =)).For the background it's the simplest thing on the poster it's just a gradient that I made blue. At first when i just had the picture of the hammer,i started to outline the handle and the neck of the hammer.I basically just started off by outlining everything. Next i started noticing the 3D elements of the picture and on the bottom left side of the head it was really awkward to get that little rectangular piece in there so i made a new layer for the 3d element type stuff.After that i started on the little circles on the grip, i used copy and paste A LOT.i had 4 different circles that i used for the 3 columns on the left.For the right column i made a new circle every 2 or 3 circles because of the different angles due to the shape of the handle.At last i did the finishing touches like the light reflections on the handle and the head on a different layer,which i threw on top.I made the reflections a different colour then the part of the object it was on and they all were mostly made out of individual lines placed close together.(um.. i don't know why i did that it just ended up looking cool to me)

i changed my pages colours to greeeennn and stuffs so no more pink and purple=(
